Sales / Business Development Associate

The Sales/Business Development Associate is directly responsible for increasing profitable customer relationships, visiting current and potential customers on a daily basis as well as handling any customer service issues that develop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Works hand in hand with the President and Chief Financial Officer of the company to develop and implement a business plan to include activities and strategies for the overall direction and growth of the company through sales and business development contracting.
2. Develop and maintain a client database of qualified leads through referrals, face to face visits, networking, etc.
3. Designs plans and strategies to attract new business and retain existing business.
4. Provide market research to assist in identifying potential customers.
5. Handles customer service calls and communicates with the customers to swiftly and accurately handle any complaints.
6. Prepares and maintains call volume reports to assist with market data.
7. Assists in the preparation of the Business Development Department budget.
8. Creates correspondence via email, letters or other means to customers, clients and patients.
9. All other duties as assigned.
